The researches show that, the yield increase in oil palm is usually closely related to fertilization problems, especially in the rainy heat, where soil nutrients are easily leached area. Potassium and magnesium are important components of chlorophyll. With potassium and magnesium fertilizers, the leaves of the plants are greener than before, and the number and weight of the ears also increase. Magnesium fertilization may help reduce leaf discoloration and premature wilting.

The relationship between oil palm and soil?

Many researchers engaged in oil palm cultivation think that although the oil palm root system is very developed and can penetrate deep into the soil, it also requires very fertile soil. Oil palm requires soil with deep regolith, loose, well-ventilated, neutral pH or slightly alkaline
